What a fantastic looking backglass this game has.
Rare game here in Australia, I only know of one in a collection in Queensland.
Interesting.
This game falls between Stingray and Stars. There's still quite a few of these around (particularly Stars as it had a higher production run)
So who was importing Stern games at the time?. LAI took over starting from Nugent as far as i know.
Operators used to buy them either from LAI, or directly from the USA. Dad used to import direct from the USA - He had all the early titles - Pinball, Stingray, Stars etc - Right up to Big Game. Stars is still in the family.
your dad used to import pinnies and you had all the titles.. how good did you have it when growing up with all those pinnies around? wow
Dad was an Operator as far back as 1955. He operated Billiard and Soccer Tables that he made himself. Later on - Jukes, Bingos, Pinballs, EM Games and finally arcade machines.
He operated over 700 machines and sold/donated or threw out most of them. I have restored probably 30 of his machines over the years, some are still in storage. Retired from the amusement Industry in 1995.
