Now that i have a back to bare wood cab and head i am ready to apply the undercoat.
I used the coat and sand method ! Spray 1 coat and then sand in between coats.
3 light coats was given.
I wasn't to careful or to fussy on colour match as it was only an undercoat.
But before i sprayed the undercoat the cab was repaired in areas where it was needed.
If you take a close look at the head the top, back and border is the finished product however the sides just had a lick of paint. There is a reason for this as i chose a different method to the conventional when it comes to older SS cabinet restores... More on that later.
