Thanks Evro... however that is not a tv trolley mate. The bottom half is half of an old make up stand that the wife was planning on throwing away which once i saw it i knew what it could be used for and the top half is a cut off from an old laminate kitchen bench top which served my purpose. 

Put a couple of L brackets on the bottom of the leg where it meets the base for support, 4 ply strips screwed from underneath the top which rest on the legs and have a look at her now !
