With the light sockets,when I have the playfield out I connect a 6v battery and check all of them and replace as required (Usually ends up most of them) Even though they are pricey

If youre painting by Roller,I found best way was tracing artwork onto cabinet with pencil then masking (Blue)straight line art,any shapes I used cheap Adhesive clear plastic. I even worked out eliminating 99% of paint bleed.
