Thanks Tony,
With the light sockets,when I have the playfield out I connect a 6v battery and check all of them and replace as required (Usually ends up most of them) Even though they are pricey http://www.rtbb.com.au/catalog/index.php?cPath=22_118&osCsid=cd7aff3d66bf7b8cd98deceb7fea911cI think they are important to be working 100%.
If youre painting by Roller,I found best way was tracing artwork onto cabinet with pencil then masking (Blue)straight line art,any shapes I used cheap Adhesive clear plastic. I even worked out eliminating 99% of paint bleed.
