Yabbies are real fine eating.I tried to grow some a while back - but I got attached to them and couldn't kill 'em.Then the lid came off the tank and a heap escaped into the house. Kept finding their shed skins around the place for a couple of years - reckon they managed to survive quite while! Never saw them though.
