Looks like you put a lot of time into it and it was a great read. A common thread is that enthusiasts that were brought up on the DMD era are starting to get exposed to more and more EMs and they appreciate the simplicity and the art. I think this has a lot to do with the "meets" and the "bringing together" of pinheads from different eras with different tastes..
