Craig - Opening up the coin door disables the coils.

The problem could be the flipper button contacts are too close. From memory, there are two leaf contacts, and the larger of the two control the bottom flipper. They could be shorted out. Slip in a piece of cardboard to widen the gap as a test.

Secondly - you mentioned moving the machine - did you fold the head ? If you did - then check connectors on the board above the CPU board - Make sure they have not popped out... They sometime do after folding the head.
