Interesting, when I saw 29.1 secs per ball I thought wow goodolddays must be a pretty cr@p player, chuckle chuckle to myself!   .....

Then I checked my Firepower, 13,941 balls in 5255 mins.  Seems I'm an exceptionally cr@p player at 22.6 secs per ball.  %.%

I don't think I've ever reset my stats, so not sure how much of these I've inherited and I run it in free play mode, so I'm just guessing the ball count and timer still run.

My HS is 758,460 so I've always looked at the mod that converts to a 7 digit score and thought I wont be needing that.

I mostly play now trying to achieve a certain feature, for example will play with the sole aim of getting an extra ball (complete top rollovers five times to get 5x bonus up, then once more to light extra ball target, then hit target) I'm not that successful at this either as I note the extra ball counter is on 4 and I'm sure at least one of them was finger actuated!

Another one I go for is trying two get two multiball plays in one game. I find that multiball is good fun, but not really a key to high scores and usually fairly short lived.

On a related note does anybody know why WMS machines of this vintage only allow a maximum bonus score of 29,000? When I first read the flyers I thought it must be a typo when it said this. You should be able to get the 20, 10, 9 etc down to 1 bonus lights up which would be 39k, but you cant, it stops at 29k and plays a sound at this level. Since is seems common to a few machines of this period I assume it must be a technical probably code related reason, but can't think of one. Anyone got any ideas?
