Please tell us more about the fault as it shouldnt be too hard to fix your board.
You state it says one phrase? Is this during game play? Have you tried pressing the test button on the board, it should then run through each sound and speech.
Maybe its an input missing from the driver board that triggers the speech that is missing or a connector issue between the sound and driver boards.
Testing with the button on the board will prove or disprove this theory..
