Do you know what coil and diode it should be? I cannot read on the coil. It is an allied brand, however the numbers cannot be read (except the last numbers appear to be 94).

Sounds like a coil/diode prob as mentioned....
On another note :
I have pulled apart a Buck Rogers Playfield, i may just have the exact coil you need, in case you can't find a NEW one at MarkC's place.
