There are plenty of Geelong-based members here (well, more than enough) so if you ask nicely they will invite you to their next home meet.
The best way to find out if you really want a machine is to put some good playing time on it; the Geelong guys will accommodate you if they have the title, otherwise a trip to dealers in Melbourne will be in order. Most of the dealers have showrooms where you can go and play the title you are interested in (and some you are not as well).
