Ive just had a fiddle with the plugs to the mpu and its fired up 7 flashes and played a game but now it just cuts out randomly. Would that suggest it may be a plug/pin problem or something more sinister ?
Thats good, suggest the first that you stated a pin/plug problem, was it PLUG J4 on the CPU? This supplies the 5 volts required for the CPU to run.
