An 'A' list pin is the best pin YOU have ever played. When YOU play a pin that is better, then the original 'A' list pin gets dropped to the 'B' list, and the new one takes it's place.
If some machines are on equal level, then you are lucky enough to have more than one 'A' game on your list.
