I haven't done this for a while either, but dvddecrypter mentioned something about getting around the newer copy protection.

This also has not been updated in years.

Have you tried DVD region free? It defeats the copy protection so you can use windows explorer to drag and drop commercial dvds to the hard drive. Dunno about the new stuff though as it's been a while like I said earlier.
Why is it called PMS?
