Re: Carnauba Wax question

Hi Guys, I am reading this thread with interest.

I have some fine cracks in one of my playfields and when I use the Turtle Wax ( not sure of the name) it leaves like a hazy deposit in the cracks. Kinda destroys the shiny effect if you know what I mean.

Is there any waxes that do not leave that milky residue? Is the Mothers wax Ok for that application or is there another product?
Is treasure Cove kit OK for residue? Lots of questions...sorry!
Thanks.

I've used Meguiars Yellow carnuba paste wax for almost 10 years. On EMs to DMDs and if you follow the instructions, it always has excellent results. You must use a polishing rag to finish off. I am about to trial the Treasurecove Wax, which will be the first time I've not used Meguiars.

I think the residue might be because you are not polishing the wax off with "terry toweling" - you can use an old bathroom towel, or buy a polishing rag from supercheap auto etc..
