I'm also a fan of 'raw' wood. My 2nd CFTBL was sealed by the guy who I had decal the cabinet, and I really don't like the way it looks - but to change it would be a lot of effort to most likely make it look 'worse', since I might nick the nicely restored cabinet. It's for sale anyways, so my keeper game is mine ;)

One of the neat aspects of any restoration is to see how someone else does it, at least in my eyes. We all have lots of ideas, and depending on who is looking, the ideas are great, or not so great, and usually no one of us can try everything.

We can learn through the efforts of others, which also make us think of more ideas :)
