will have to move to resto thread soon.i havent even got the machine yet.pi 1 x4 looks the go,have e-mailed pascal for price and availability.however the cleo has a chime mech and the new board has a sound systhesizer,is this an issue?regards damien

Damien - PI-1 X4 has an additional sound amplifier and channel which enhances some of the later games like Genie - which use electronic sounds. Cleopatra has chimes, so you do not need the additional sound daughterboard - unless you want to hook up a speaker. That's nice, but not original - you would have to disconnect the chimes.

My advice is to use the chimes that came with the machine
