Hi there

Another alternative to get it up and running short term or long if you don't want to play with wires is that you can purchase a transformer 120v to 240v, and check the schematic for peak amps in the ball park of 140amps but this is based on my Surf Champ. Jaycar Electronics sells these for about $125.

US plug in one end and then Aus 240V out the other end.

Yes - you can use a step down transformer if you don't want to mess with the game transformer.

You should be able to find a cheaper one on eBay as well.  I am using a step down transformer on my Hulk machine and haven't had any issues with it.  From memory mine cost about $60-70 from a seller that is in the Heathcote NSW area.
