Actually most of the parts used on games of this era are DEAD EASY to get as they were mostly common generic parts. Member here Skybeaux has pretty well all these chips at very sensible prices.

Perhaps I am being a bit picky?
When I repaired a couple of Williams Driver boards last year, Jaycar had EVERY part and cheap too.
I guess I am talking about being able to run down the local electronics store and being able to get parts.
Then again places like Rockby's, Futurlec and Altronics have only about every second part I have looked for, only slightly more than the local Jaycar.
Maybe I am looking in the wrong places, or is the selection a bit slim in Adelaide?
There are plenty of USA places to get parts, but when your in the middle of a repair you don't want to wait 3 weeks for parts.

Thanks for your advice Homepin, I will have a talk to Skybeaux.

Cheers
