Yes, I hope all the people in the north get through this safely.
Some facts I heard today.
The eye of TC Yasi is 70 kms wide (that's the eye, not the cyclone itself, that is 500 kms wide).
TC Tracy that hit Darwin, was 48 kms wide overall (includes the eye + the tail).
This morning on Sunrise, they said there was enough energy in TC Yasi to power the world for 1 year. Yeah, 1 year! WTF!
