I clearcoated the pin today and so have finished the cab paint part of this restore  $#$
I used acrylic lacquer clear and mixed to a ratio of 75% gloss to 25% matt, this was then
mixed 1:1 with thinners to spray, though I ended up making another lot up and added more
thinners ~20% more, as I was getting an "orange peel" finish.
Really happy with result, its a nice satin/semi gloss finish.
Im having a hard time taking pics of cab that are true to the eye, the camera wants to lighten
the shots up because of all the black and this makes the colors look weak, if I go the other way
the colors look good but hard to make out the cab. Anyways here's a couple of pics with lacquer on.
