Well ive got the old girl up and running it was the transformer had the right voltages just not enough grunt left to run it.    Had to kind of dodge it up using a new transformer from jaycar and a relay from an Em gottlieb not perfect but it's up and running.     

  This thing has been a nightmare for over 12 months now so it's been running now for over an hour without a problem so I'm happy enough to send it back to it's owner.
