I'd say it is more likely an issue during production. They are cheap to replace !

Thanks nino not questioning cost of replacing though. Just checking to see if I'm unlucky or should look further into the matter. I think you're probably right I just wanted to avoid the old keep replacing fuses syndrome without fixing the real problem.
I've never had an EOS do that to me. But you are a better player than me Rob. Most of my balls drain very quickly.
Still strange. Is the coil getting warm at all?
