Card Whiz left flipper moves from position
« on: February 21, 2013, 09:46:59 PM »
Hey all
My Card Whiz left flipper drops from its home position after a bit of use. I have swapped the flippers over but this is still happening. I thought if I got the grinder out and made a flat spot in the shaft where the lock bolts hit the shaft all would be good but then if I put the flat spot in the wrong spot what then? This problem cannot be unique to me. What have others done in this position?

Sounds like you need to replace the flipper shaft. When you say you swapped the flippers, did the problem follow the flipper ?

When I swapped the flippers the problem remained on the left side. I might try and find some replacement grub screws and give that a go.

So it is not the shaft.

Can you physically move the flipper shaft within the pawl ? Sounds like the grub screws are not holding.
