Visit to Sydney this weekend

Hi guys I am coming over to Sydney for work on Friday. I will be out Castle hill way for the Friday all day with work. I need to get down to Bowral Saturday to do some stuff and fly out Saturday night.

So the question is what to do Friday night, I like pinball, I like pubs and bands and don't want to go into the CBD.

So what ideas do you have, I want to stay close to where I play for the night.

I don't know Sydney that well so I'm not sure if this is out of your way or not but you could do a lot worse than the Courthouse Hotel in Newtown.
