Any chance someone has a machine with this type of sound power supply? This is from an export Volcano, but maybe an export MGOW also has one.
For no reason, the cap and resistor exploded without taking out any fuses. At this stage, I still only have the J1 PSU connected, all other connectors (except for this sound psu) disconnected.
I can’t find any information on this (wood?) board, but I’m just after the cap and resistor value, as per picture.
Putting a meter on the 12VDC rectifier was around 30VDC. I’ve replaced the main power lead and mains filter and got it down to 18VDC under load. This still seems to be high, as schematics state it should be at 12VDC.
