Recently I purchased a table that had some new LED's installed. Turned the machine on, it booted up and poofff all the GI went out, took the 20amp fuse. After some time and swearing I found a dead short in 1 of these led's. When it had been installed it must have been a tight fit and forced a little to get it in causing the coloured ring to separate from the metal body in turn allowing the top to be twisted and crossing the wires in the LED.
If you use a LED and it seems a bit tight to turn into the locks file the lead nipple down a little or if no file is on hand then just rub it gentle on concrete.
Always hold the base and give the plastic ring a gentle twist to see if it is in place correctly and NEVER force a LED into place. (44/47)
