Drawing a long bow.... Black Hole is collectible like Kiss
« on: August 01, 2013, 08:42:15 PM »
Perhaps its just to spam the title in the hope of catching some extra views. While I'm the first to agree that BH is one of the very best of the early 80's games....

One of the two is an $8000 pin restored, and is one of the most sought after games ever produced. It is also one of the most lame tables ever produced.

The other is worth less than 1/4 of the price, and is often found for sale. It is one of the most playable tables ever produced.

A strange tactic indeed to attract the KISS Army to a Black Hole. Hmm that does not sound right.

I have both in my personal collection, and the KISS will be more of an ornament when restored, and the Black Hole will be played every day.

Just a bit of spamming. I would suspect.

I too have both, BH needs restore/repair. KISS is fully restored and plays like new, very fast. I really enjoy playing it. Wouldn't call it "lame", rather "fun and fast". One of the better 70s Solid State Machines.

But i do agree, Black Hole is classic 80s machine. Great concept , lower playfield. I would rate it very high in the solid state rankings.

You gotta do it man!! BH is such a great game, and extremely solid once the ground mods are done.

There's nothing quite like the two ball multiball starting downstairs, leading to the the three ball upstairs after the the downstairs drains, then shooting one or more balls downstairs and trying to play both levels at once, shooting in opposite directions..... does my head in every time!!

+1

My personal game is now in the workshop. I keep overlooking it as I'm too busy with Customer's games. But it will be the first of "my own" games that I will do later this year.
