Bally Outhole Kicker Arm C-972-3 e.g. Fathom
« on: May 08, 2014, 11:08:10 PM »
Hi All,

here is the last of the projects that I started a while ago but needed a volunteer to do the final test fit. A big thanks to Adam for helping me out as we tweaked it, and happy to say it now fits and is functional. I kept with tradition as there will be a standard version available as well as an upgraded version with larger internal radii as well as the ball launch section section being beefed up more as well as an additional web brace in the corner. This adds bugger all weight but I was striving for "buy one for life", not buy then fail in a years time due to a cost cutting trimmed out design. Both have the unaltered external dimensions as all strengthening was made in the internal section.

These will be available at Shapeways in the next day or so.

thanks for looking

first 2 images show the difference between the original and upgraded.

and a photo of the 3D printed tester, fitted to ensure fit and function

from what I can tell these will suit a Fathom, Embryon and Elektra and there are probably other ones as well.

Great stuff Jady, I was happy to test them. I'll be buying the strengthened version.  ^^^

Yep will need one. Will it be only available at shapeways or is direct best?

Shapeways as there print quality is better than what I can do and they print 100% fill.

Crashramp will be ordering 1 or 2 so maybe team up
