Gtb Quick Draw help needed
« on: November 23, 2013, 09:46:38 PM »
Hi guys, I have a Gtb Quick Draw here a @ the moment, belonging to Cam (AP member 'big dog') one of three machines he had delivered to me for repair/restoration.

Pics below show my dilemma.. some weird looking socket that has been wired in to the backbox  *!@
I'm guessing it had a plug in relay, as i have seen this done before with this style of socket (my old Abracadabra had one of these socketed relays on the mech panel in the cab).

My question is, if anyone else reading this has a Quick Draw/Fast Draw can post a pic of their machine inside the backbox so i can see what this should look like, so i can get some idea of what i need to do to get this game up and running again. In the 3rd pic you can see some screw holes, which i assume were for the original relay in this position.

So basically i'll be looking for a replacement relay (or whatever is supposed to be there)  !@# once i know for sure  ^&^

Any help will be greatly appreciated!  Cheers.. Mitch

If you don't remember the 70s then you were on drugs.
If you remember playing pinball in the 70s you were having a good time.
If you don't remember anything,  then read about it here,

Saw a photo of one of these here

AWESOME thanks for that!!  $#$ might not be so hard after all!
I hadn't looked inside the cab yet, the rest of the connector is probably inside.. if only i'd opened up the game for a look  &^&
I just wheeled the 3 games on the trolley and stuck them in the corner.. didnt look inside any of them!
Only noticed the connector in QD because the backbox door was missing.
