Pinball LEDS
« on: April 15, 2014, 08:30:43 PM »
I am sure this has been covered but thought I would ask.

Looking at putting LEDs on my Getaway and Dr Who.  Starting with the Getaway.

Most are #555 under play field and #555 behind the translite.  After looking around there seems to be quite a few to choose from.

1.) Do I go for whites or colored under the play field?  I have seen single twin and quad LEDs.  Globes or non globes.

2.) Behind the translite globes or single spots.

All I tend to use these days is the super brites.    Your better off color matching the LED to the Playfield inserts especially red or else you end up with pink inserts
