« on: May 08, 2014, 11:58:18 PM »
Hi all
Attempting my first playfield swap and finding it a challenge, my question is do you glue the metal ball rails in and
If so what is the best product . The playfield is silverball mania....the rails are the ones around the bumpers about
The thickness of a coat hanger. Hope you can help.

No need to glue them, they should just tap unless the playfield is somehow damaged from them being removed. If it's a new CPR playfield your using then you won't have a problem.

If you need to glue, I use a simple PVA wood glue. Keeps them solid enough and can be removed if required.
Would love to know any other techniques.
If it isn't broke, it isn't pinball.

The pre drilled holes should be slightly smaller in diameter. Tapping them in should suffice. I've never glued them in the past, but it would not hurt.
