normally closed target
« on: July 27, 2014, 01:26:50 PM »
Any ideas where to buy a red round stand up target that seems to be normally closed and when hit, it opens the contact. A-3359-15 is the part number and the picture is from the parts book. Second hand will be ok for now as well. Thanks

Btw I have a few spare normal open targets from my space invaders, so is there a way of converting or using parts from these to make what I need.

Hmmm, perhaps using the copper arms/contacts from various targets and a little bending you could rebuild one, otherwise wire the normally-open target into a relay and use it's normally-closed contacts to goto the wiring.

Hmmmm I'm looking at in my hand ATM.
If it's the type that can be pulled apart and if you have spare bits as I keep all my old switches,
I'd turn the back leaf around and add another leaf at the back and bend the top of the leaf over to meet with the back of the target.
That's if it can be pulled apart.
