DR Who restoration
« on: April 14, 2014, 02:01:10 PM »
OK got a dr who locally that had a good playfield as had full mylar covering it which was easy enough to remove but the cabinet was a little rough and ready so needed some attention...

So far I have the leg bolt brackets which were the weaker kind and also the threads were going and entire bolts warping, I have also done a full cabinet decal job on it, plenty of before during and after pics ;-)

I also discovered with this cabinet how much better the paint stripping 80 grit sandpaper works in the orbital sander than the regular 80 grit for getting the damn glue residue off...

broken leg brackets

New ones in

Old cabinet art

Stripping old art off

Awesome Colour from new artwork

Filling in gaps at edge of mini playfield getting ready for cliffy protectors (this is just after putting it on before cleaning it up)

Need to replace this damn mess... LOL...

Good to see you have repaired the section in front of the time Expander before installing the Cliffy.

That's a very nice cabinet  @@*
