The local fish & chip shop played a part of my love for pinball
Centigrade 37
Quick Draw (the first game I got see inside)
And then Sinbad, the second SS machine I ever saw (hot tip was ffirst)

sign of economy or people just don't want EMs?

I know the game I want are those I played as a kid
I played Sinbad, not Eye of the Tiger

I love the big blue displays on Sys 1s
the EM versions look weird

Traditionally, this time of year, prospective buyers have exhausted their funds over Christmas and the Holiday period. December - March is a "slow" time for sales. I think things will pick up soon.

People do want EMs. I reserved 2 in the last week. Some customers have been burnt on the crap EMs that have found their way here in recent years, but the "fussy" collectors still want the High End titles. There has also been a hesitation in buying due to machines being dumped on eBay and needing a lot of work to get going - This does spoil the experience for buyers. But awareness of good titles becoming available in good condition is stimulating the EM market.

Yeah good memories for sure - mates, girls, takeaway shops & pinball. I was a bit later with the bally games of the early 1990s - but I still really enjoy playing an EM & I can really appreciate a good example - they are retro, look & sound cool. Agree with retropin on CV - apologies to the purists but I think the most stunning pinball I have ever seen was a HUO CV which had been blinged out with chrome - just awesome against the green & a pleasure to play. I sure don't have the $5k (plus) to spend on one (my guesstimate at market value)  *.*
I enjoy Porsche, Gibson LPs, Bally-Williams & learning about pinball maintenance & restoration.

Which is why im surprised it hasn't sold... it is a collectors machine and priced very well

You have to be really passionate for the collector EMs
as it is hard to source plastics if it is not the popular ones

Just for interest it didn't relist - often a sign it's sold - be interesting to know if under or over the $1k. Good point re parts (although I'm bit surprised how hard it is to get some plastics & ramps for Demolition Man - doesn't seen to be a complete set available & individual parts often sold out). Cheers.
