Roadshow reset problem

This may be handy for someone .Been having an inconsistent reset problem with my roadshow which seemed to be related to the left flippers. Found the screws that hold the power board and make the earth we're loose . My Dad's advice was good always look for the simplest thing first. cheers

Good advice.
Many would jump start into changing capacitors and rectifiers and then possibly end up fixing the problem by default. A bit of investigation can save a lot.

Your dad is a smart cookie. I have found over the years that the majority of faults are mechanical in nature, including simple mechanical breakages of wires. I always start at the mechanism affected and work back towards what drives it from there.
