Guns n Roses - mod suggestions
« on: February 08, 2009, 06:02:07 PM »
Here are a couple of pics of my Guns n Roses

Currently it has a Sound kit in it (sounds great) and i have still have to put a new rose plunger on (already have it)

I was thinking maybe of getting black chrome rails, legs and lock bar!

What are peoples opinion of that?

What other mods can be done with a Guns?

thanks people

One mod I'd like to see Geoff -

Could you modify it's location to that of my house please?

Just a bit worried about the wear factor and wether it will stand the test of time. I suppose I could talk to a metal plater and ask them

Sorry to add to an old post, but a shaker in gnr is a must! The code is there for it, just need to wire it up.

I have also added a slash doll, with a spotlight on the top of each bumper that's wired up to a few existing switches to interact with various modes.

I also added a drum kit in the middle of the G ramp... haven't quite finished that one yet.

This! Only to my house instead please. I'd be very happy with a stock machine. Best band in the world & best guitarist (that'll be controversial so not up for discussion  *.*) Very cool pin that fits anywhere & it plays well. It is a must have - but going up in $$.
I enjoy Porsche, Gibson LPs, Bally-Williams & learning about pinball maintenance & restoration.

Not many mods for this one.

Your scorecards could be changed to nice graphic ones

There was a bloke on the other forum who coated his rails, legs and lockdown in a bright green. Not my cup of Tetley but some like it.

This looks cool ... http://www.pinbits.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=13_55&products_id=420&zenid=78ppir340f7qlsuj9nvd47alt4

Others have added a 'black pearl' pinball ball for the captive ball also

Getting the red acrylic for the DMD display is a must!
Apart from doing the Leds that's the only mod done to mine.
I'm also interested in the shaker motor. I assume it's the exact same one from a WWF Royal Rumble?
