I've been thinking about tilting recently, and talked to Roger Sharpe, Bowen Kerins and others about what how tilt settings affect games on location, gameplay, tourament strategies and cheating.

Nice article.  As an old-school player I am not a fan of the 'tilt warnings' a modern game allows.  Also not a fan of the old EM tilts that took the whole game out

My father never tilted pinball machines. Rarely have I ever titled a machine.

The recent competition I entered was a real eye opener, and the "Bradbury principle" really worked in my favor. The amount of times a player would SLAP a machine AFTER the ball drained was unbelievable. The ball is heading towards an outlane - so the game is moved inches to the left or right - tilting - and the "6 X Bonus" at the end of the ball is not collected.

I've seen "collectors" almost bash up a pinball machine in a private collection. I've never understood this (30 years and it STILL makes no sense to me)..
