embryon middle lane way

I probably know this is a wiring issue but thought it best to check. Between the 1 & 2 lane way is a white arrow above the middle lane guide. When this arrow is flashing, the two GI?? globes on the middle guides flash as well. So when the arrow is on, they are off and visa versa. My question is, is this normal or should these mutually exclusive? Btw this does look great.

Checked the wire trail and saw these globes are on the same line. Disconnected these and found my flashers remained on. So figure this connection is supposed to be linked
