Hello everybody

I have develop and manufacture this DMD RGB multicolor, compatible with real pinball and virtual pinball. I have three versions, the latter is the DUAL which also supports connection to a "topper".

The full assembled DMD price is 164 euros, with several optional extras; WIFI + 4 euros, Serial Port + 4 euros, CR2032 battery holder + secondary oscillator for first animated clocks and remote Source + 3 euros, A dual-release connector (topper) 2 euros.

What machines are supported and what would the postage cost be to Aus?

options is always nice, for 90's Bally Williams games do you supply a chip for colour for a game or does this work with colordmd?

can you set the colour to say shades of green for CFTBL?

I cant speak for pinballsp,  but have made a couple of these up and they are pretty good and affordable. With the ones i have, i just used the standard pallette which is 4 colours and suits spiderman well. For CFTBL you could leave black as is, then there are 3 shades of orange on a standard dmd and these could be set to 3 shades of green.

How do you do that?

Do you have to do dots yourself or is there some sort of software?  did notice a SD card

Its def a bit of mucking around, and maybe buying from pinballsp is a lot less hassle.  I bought the LED displays and power supply from China - you then have to cut the display backing panel up to the right dimensions, then make a frame to mount it all in your machine.

Wire the power supply up, and then purchase the boardset from the guy on vpuniverse.  This then has to be registered.

After that, you load the SD card with your type of machine (software available on links on vpuniverse), then as mentioned, set 4 colours for the 4 different shades displayed on a normal orange DMD.  If you were super keen, you could customise each frame in colour, but that is well beyond my ability or inclination!

Hello.

This system work replacing bright levels by colors, so Bally/Williams, Data East, Stern WhiteStar and Gottlieb work with 4 brightness levels. Stern SAM and Spike work with 16 brightness levels. So this mean 4 and 16 colors by frame, you may select what colors whant apply by game, and also may apply advanced color with an Editor software to apply a different color palette by animation, and for SAM and Spike may work with PInball Browser to apply colors by frame like do colorDMD.

The final result is very good, and cheaper than colorDMD.

Also available, only the controller board, if you want assemble your DMD with led panels, power supply and frame.
