I agree with Tony , a Gottlieb EM from the 1970s - a single player wedge head would be a great first game! ^^^

Or a good project pin, Gottlieb System 1 or 80.  Being a sparky you should be fine with either of these.  Only thing to be aware of with System 1 games like Joker Poker, Charlies Angels, Hulk, Countdown etc is that if the spider chip/s on the CPU have failed they are no longer available.

This will mean needing a Niwumph or Pascal replacement CPU so will cost a little etc.

Hi Dean,

EM or SS, either way does not worry me to much, have a lot of 20 year old PLC's at work that are starting to fail now so agree about the old electronics. The more I look at the older pinnies the more the memories come back and the more undecided on what game to settle for  *!@
Joker Poker does look a bit of a stretch at the moment, cannot find too many for sale anywhere !!!
I'll keep looking, no rush.
