« on: August 19, 2009, 02:01:00 PM »
Pascal tels me the fuse I have blown on my HH board is a fast 160mA microfuse type...
So took it to Jaycar and they tell me that they no longer make them and dont know where I can get one...

anyone got any ideas???Its a small round fuse with 2 pins in the bottom of it.....not the glass type

will throw up a pic of it tonight If I need to..

Thanks in advance for any help...will be important as well for anyone else with a pascal system 80 board to know where they can get them as well I guess..

Sorry RB, you must be frustrated as with it. Could you solder legs to a glass one?

Funny having a fuse thats impossible to get on a pascal board...he usually tries to place common parts on his boards I thought

May just need to wire one of these up instead someway..

Jaycar are dirty liars - many times now I have the "these are not made any more" - translated "we don't stock it".

Components going to make room for more USB pole dancers and other important plastic crap.

Just did a quick search for "radial PCB fuse" in Australia and these guys popped up:

https://swecheck.qnetau.com/phpcode/list_products.php?product_group=2&collection=6&series=33

Man they have every type of fuse I can think of. I have no idea if they are happy to deal with retail - consider this more a "point of hope" that they certainly are available.

Cheers
Jacob

These fuses are very common in European equipment - not so common in much else.
