Very lucky. St Kilda played like Western Bulldogs. Lots of missed opportunities and points

That was your typical 80's style GF. The harder, more seasoned bodies won. If the day was dry, the Saints would have done better.

I STILL cannot believe the cats lost last year.

Next year will be the saints year.

Well done Geelong - the better team on the day (and the conditions) won !

Grew up playing and living rugby league, now I can't watch it.

AFL is the No. 1 sport in Australia, whether you like it or not, it has teams all over Australia, club matches pull crowds the same as a league final or state of origin.  Best thing is, the wife likes perving on the AFL players and I get to watch the game in relative peace.

What a game. Can't say I'm not gutted, but on the other hand, great to be part of one of THE great grand finals. Can't say much more as I'm, wat too **ssed to be able to type, but no shame in today's effort, the best team today prevailed, congrats to Geelong (crikey - I live here!) what a game.

I was following the Saints today - hoping they would come good, but I think the team that deserved to win "on the day" did. Gotta say - it was the best Grand final since the infamous 1989 GF. I enjoyed it immensely. A couple of easy shots missed at the start of the game cost St Kilda. But the class of Ablett and Chapman in the final 10 minutes was the telling point of the match.

Lenny Hayes would have won the Norm Smith to half time - geez he was good !
