Free Play settings on Flash

Hi. Picked up the Flash from Rolerball today. Cool guy , was good to meet him.

Anyways, the machine reset when it was being played, turned in off on on, and now a game won't start in attract mode. Rang Rollerball, he said it may have to be set back to free play. Well, i checked the manual, and i can't figure this out. How do i do it? Don't want to ring Rollerball again and bother him, thought i'd ask here. Cheers.

You need to set your maximum credit setting to 99 from memory ill take a look and get back to you

I think you set the maximum credits to "00"

Yes set the credit limit to '00' this should give you free play.

Yep thanks guys. Mode 18, then set to 00. Found it hidden in the manual after another look. Just a bit hungover today, my head isn't how it should be. Flash is a great game, i never saw it when i was younger (which is surprising). Cheers everyone.

Flash is an awesome WMS title - Best machine of that era.. FAST and very addictive. Plays more like a Bally of that era.

That's EXACTLY what i thought Strangeways when i played this today. The ball seems to 'bounce' around compared to Gorgar, like it's made of rubber, and the game feels very smooth to play, everything seems to blend, very addictive. Layout looks simple, even a bit boring, but it's deceiving. Amazing how i have two machines, which is basically a ball rolling around on a piece of timber, yet they feel so different.

When you say 'era', do you mean the whole of the late 70'e early 80's??
