Our 2 Daughters were 11 and 10 when they found out , and yes, it is hard when you have to tell them what they have heard is true (or is it?) . Nonetheless they still put their pillow cases out (5 years later) and still get presents from Santa
I need more room ! and more $$$

Its good to get others opinions.  As ive always hated the idea of santa and easter bunny etc.   You spend half of there life lying to them then wonder why they wont believe us the rest lol

my wife told my daughter about santa til she was about 5.

i then said u have to be careful telling her stories that sound too far fetched, cause one day some weirdo might tell the daughter some other far fetched story for the wrong reason, and she might believe him.

So now, at 8 yrs old, i tell her if some guy who looks unusual asks you to sit on his knee, feel free to punch him repeatedly and call out for dad ! lol

If my other daughter, who is 16 going on 30, saw a santa coming down the chimmney, she would probably tie him up and keep him captive until she got a new car out of him. No car, no leavin the house. lol     yes, i have taught them to be shy !  maybe not. lol   ^^^  ^^^  ^^^

The kids are 8 and 3, so Santa is the man at our house today. Carrots are gone and the milk and cookies got smashed. I keep telling the 8 year old we should leave a nip of Chivas but He reckons Santa might crash. Can't argue with that logic. Hope you all have a great day.
