My growing pinball list!
« on: February 08, 2010, 09:29:20 PM »
I have been asked about my current pinball machines all of which I will keep and build on! All are in excellent condition and have been extremely well maintained. I will post pics soon.

Looks like you got a couple of good breeders in there - won't take long to grow. In fact, it's now proved that pins can breed from just one anyway, so watch out!

first machine i ever played was a 78 model phoenix when i was about 8 yrs old. it was brand spanking new and the bright yellow n pink colours were amazing. it was a big big hit at the local takeaway store.

apollo 13 is a machine alot of people buy and move on quickly, but i dont know why. i havent played one yet myself but my brother wants one.

Question- tell us about apollo 13 and how u find the game. give us a quick review if u can, i would really appreciate it.  ^^^

The Apollo 13 is probably my favorite machine actually(although I love them all!) People probably find the narrow lanes a challenge and you do need fair amount of skill to aim for appropriate targets. It is one of those machines that you need to spend some time on to really appreciate the complexity in the missions. I find the sound is great, lighting is very effective and when you get the 13 ball multiball blastoff it is sensational and it is made better with the shaker motor effect which feels like the machine is actually going to take off! Of course this all depends on the machine you are playing and the condition of it. I have played some 13's and they were not as captivating but I hunted for a few years before I found mine in excellent condition.

If things had have worked out a little differently I could have owned an Apollo 13...

I played one last time I was over at MarkC's and it is great fun. That 13-ball multiball is just insane.

Nice collection.  Pinbits hunter killer ship mod looks very cool on the T2.  This is one of my favorite machines.  I put this kit on mine.  T2 is silky smooth ramps and fast pops.  Cool machine!
