A couple of Gottlieb parts wanted
« on: October 20, 2010, 10:19:37 PM »
Ive played my Street Fighter 2 so many times Im wearing it out........

I need a couple of bits if anyone can help or suggest where I can get them from

Coil, part number 27643 and its sleeve 5064

And left hand flipper switch (which looks an oddity because this game has 2 flippers on the LHS) part number 28962

Any help appreciated
Thanks

G'day douggie is that coil a flipper coil?   I may have had one on the class of 1812 and is the flipper switch the one from the cabinet or the end of stroke switch on the flipper?

I'm really starting to wonder, Daniel, what parts you don't have lying around ?
I need more room ! and more $$$

G'day mate....the coil pushes up a plastic ramp thing and the switch is the one behind the flipper button on the cabinet...Ive looked at Mark C's site and he's got all gottlieb bits listed except these 2
Its a different number coil to any of the flipper ones

Thanks Daniel!!!!!!!!!!!....bits arrived Friday arvo....You probably heard me swearing before cos after I fitted the new coil etc it still doesnt work (your coil is good, my old coil was shorted).....Ive just pulled everything to bits and found a shorted MOSFET on the driver board, type IRL530 or 2N10L...........Does anyone know of a local source for these??? Ive found one UK seller on ebay but they have shocking feedback for undelivered goods.

Really appreciate your efforts in sending me the bits, hopefully one day I can return the favour somehow.

Cheers

You should be able to use an IRL540 Mosfet, from memory the IRL530 is rated at 15A max and the IRL540 is 28A max.  Pinball Spare Parts has the IRL 540.  Here is the link http://www.pinballspareparts.com.au/index.php?search%5Bterms%5D=IRL&search%5Bmode%5D=any
