Williams system 11 knocker coil problem
« on: April 17, 2011, 10:40:58 PM »
Having a problem with my Cyclone rebuild. Got everything running OK but now have turned up a solenoid problem.
Whenever a soldenoid fires, it also fires the knocker solenoid at the same time.
Sometimes it is a full hit and others a sort of half hearted fire.
It is only obvious with some solenoids and not others.
It happens during play and also during the solenoid test, occasionally it will happen with a flashlamp, even happens on a "not used" part of the solenoid test.
The ac changeover relay seems to work OK, operates during solenoid test like it is supposed to. A physical look at the relay doesn't show any signs of a stuck contact.
Anyone got any ideas what may cause this?
Thanks.
