Hello all from Finland.
I have been following your excellent forum for several months now and decided to introduce myself. So I live in Finland, and as you propably all know, it's located in northern Europe :) So my mother language is not english, sorry for upcoming mistakes...
I have been playing pinballs since mid 80's, and in 90's it was great way to spend all loose time with friends. But about 99 - 2009 I lost almost all contact to this magnificent machine because playing locations started to disappear quite rapidly. But last year I got inspired again and because financial status naturally has been evolving during years, I bought my first pin. Actually it was some kind of not planned action, one Popeye come to my intention and I decided to bring it home. Or actually I did take it to my workplace and started to learn, how pinballs work.
At January I found from Finnish online auction site another interesting game, Cue Ball Wizard. Finally bought it and after doing full shop job to it, I put it on location for play. My little effort to gain more ground for this great way of spending spare time.
One question, I have made some blog-like stories both machines shopping, could I put some stories to this "Restorations" section, even my jobs has been merely like "deep cleaning", not actual restorations. Actually I have found these restoration-stories to be absolutely best thing that can be found, I really enjoy reading those and naturally good pictures tells more than thousand words. Some previews from my CBW-shopping can be found:
