TRON gameplay
« on: August 28, 2011, 06:04:12 PM »
The wife and i were out and about today and after she had done some shopping ect we noticed an arcade room.I said lets go in and see if there are any pins to play, and there was 1 only a TRON LE.My opinion on this machine is mine,so if any Tron owners are offended this is just my take on this title. After playing 1 game i thought i would not buy one of these, but i thought no give it a chance and play a few more,so after i played 6 games and my wife played 2 nothing changed from my first thoughts. We both said we would rather be playing Sharkeys Shootout at home or any of the other titles we have. What a very plain game,no big feature to shoot for apart from a disc  (((,playfield layout a load of crap and pop bumpers in the bottom side of playfield are not for me.I would consider Lord of the Rings and Iron Man to both be better titles than this.I hope Stern do get it right if they make an ACDC pin because my take on Tron was it looks cheap and not much bang for your buck.

Thats a bit harsh! They havnt hit Sega levels yet have they!! Games like lotr, tspp, sm, fg are stand outs although it has been a while since the last hit I guess.

Not a Stern Fan with only a handful of games that tickle my fancy and to be be quite frank i had the opportunity to play a Tron LE and i was blown away as to the whole package !

Visually mind blowing and super fast ! Game rules were deep enough to enjoy !

My comments refer to the LE version.... have not had a game on the standard version.
Some people have big HEADS !

Tron the pin was very disapointing, kinda like the movie.
